Automated gates give you a simple way to protect your property. They keep intruders out while giving you easy access. Of course, automated gates are all about safety, and people have a lot of questions about gate safety. It’s normal to have concerns when you install a new technology on your property. New gate users often ask questions like “Will my gates ever close on somebody’s car?” and “What if my gate opens while my children are near it?” We understand your concerns. That’s why we’ve put lots of foolproof safety measures in place. At InteleGates, we’re committed to helping you keep your family and your property safe. We put lots of care and attention into your gate’s safety measures so that you can rest easy

Safety Measures

Your gates are meant to provide you with more safety and peace of mind. However, without proper safety measures, your gates will do just the opposite. Instead of resting assured that your gates are protecting your property, you’ll be worried about potential accidents. You can’t enjoy your gates if you’re constantly worried that something bad might happen. Thankfully, our safety measures make sure that those bad things don’t happen. We carefully install security measures that prevent gate-related accidents, so you can go back to enjoying the protection that your gates provide. Here are the safety measures you can count on when InteleGates installs your gates.

Sensors provide our biggest gate safety measure. We install sensors both above ground and underground for top level safety. These sensors can tell when a car is coming through the gate, so your gates will not close on a car. These sensors don’t just sense cars, though. They also sense humans, animals, and objects that may be in your gate’s pathway. If anything happens to be in the way, your gates will not open or close. There are even safety blocks in place for remote-controlled gates. If you press the button on your remote and someone happens to be in the way of your gate, the gate won’t open.

Your gates also come equipped with edges to prevent forced openings. For example, in the unlikely event that a car slams into your gates, either by accident or by force, the gates won’t open. Instead, the gates will hit an edge. If someone happened to be on the other side of the gate during this kind of accident, that person wouldn’t get hit by the gate or the car.
